Default '98 XLT Scab options?

I can't find anything to say whether the '98 was offered with heated mirrors. Mine was stated as having the Winter Pack (coming over from Canada would make sense), but I'm not sure.
As I can't find any switch anywhere, I'm guessing not.
Was it even available?

They didn't come out until the later trucks. I've seen people change them out and also add heaters to their old mirrors. Some of the KR's from 02 and 03 had heated mirrors, but before that, I don't think it was an option.

Thanks for that. Was there any kind of winter pack that could have been fitted. It has a Cloudrider grill, but I'm not sure what else they would class as Winter?

Complete guess on my part but I would think a winter pack would come with an engine block heater.

Up here in Alaska, in the extreme cold areas, they used to take cut Naugahyde material to fit the grille opening, and use snaps to close out the grille in the super cold areas. We had a company who made them here in AK, but the company found most people didn't like the snaps sitting around the grille, when the material wasn't there. So they went away. They still use some on the north slope when its -70 wind chill factor.
