98 F150 4R70W Lost third gear
19, rebuilt first automatic myself, problem.....
every manual selection P R N D 1 2 will engage but.. my driving it start out, i believe 1, 2 or third neutral (faint shudder possibly). i tried manual select 1 & 2, worked but seemed lack power
4R70W, re-manufactured unit that has a TSB post about leaking accumulator but 2-3 seal is good. going check 1-2
i replaced brand new some seals and most of the clutches, new torque converter, is possible i f'ed up third gear clutch packs re-assembly
shoot - all - possible ideas of loss of third, broke first year
