Default 98 f150 4.6 wont over 3000 no power

My 98 f150 spits and sputters has no power and wont rev over 3000 rpm. Ive checked the codes and theres only a po141 witch is o2 sensor code any ideas??

If i eas on the throttle it'll rev up but if i stand on it falls on its face and has no power

I had a similar problem with a '94 explorer I had a few years ago. The problem ended up being the coil pack. Do you have a shop manual?

I've got the same problem- check ALL your vacuum hoses, especially the ones going from the EGR and PCV to the intake. Also clean your MAF and IAC...that helped-but didn't cure- my problems. What helped me the most-but still didn't completely cure- was changing the throttle Position Sensor.

Tested battery and alternator wasn't charging so i changed alternator today still not charging getting 11.75 while idling any ideas?

Figured out my charging problem the battery light on the dash burnt out it is needed to complete the circuit put init a newalternator bulb charging andso running perfect.. hope this will help if anyone else ever has this problem

Check your catalytic converter possibly plugged.
