Was wondering if any one has 98-99 light controls on a 00-03. I want the blue tint from them because planning on putting leds in the truck this weekend or next.

 

I have a '98 that all I did was replace the old bulb with a blue LED, to match the LEDs I put elsewhere in the dash. Using hyper white gives you the blue effect in the dash cluster and temp controls - but NOT the light switch assembly. A white LED will give you white light, since there's no interior blue film there. Get a blue T-10 LED, and the tint will match the rest. Or, if you already have the white T-10, then you can get blue bulb covers (Auto Meter brand), and cover the white - that works too!

 

My light controls and HAVC have a greenish tint on them now.
