So I bought the truck this summer and have worked through many mechanical repairs and I have this thing running great. Now it is time to move on to the little nitnoid stuff. Today was foglight day. They never worked since I bought the truck. Got the voltmeter out and all my tools to start the troubleshooting. I then went inside the truck and turned on the lights and noticed that you have to pull the switch out to get the foglights to work. Tried it and wala...I got foglights. I then packed up all tools and put them back in the garage.

I had my truck for 135,000 miles before I accidentally discovered them.
Obviously hadnt missed them much..

 

it is funny because the guy that sold me the vehicle bought it used and claimed they never did work for him either. I guess that is why I never really looked into it. I drove it 4 months not knowing any better. It definately made a big difference in tonights rain.

 

I ended up upping the bulb wattage in mine and have a lot of output now.
