hey do 5 speed trans burn fluid ? I was two liters shy when I cheaked the fluid today. I have never heard of a 5 speed burring fluid . its not leaking any where on the trans

....gotta be going out somewhere, unless the tranny is running hotter than a two-dollar machine gun and frying the lube. (not very likely).

I guess you've checked the slip yoke tailshaft seal and flywheel housing for signs of leakage. Take a look at the frame and body for signs of oil aft of the tranny. (Sometimes some leakage can occur at the shifter interface and the slipstream blows the oil aft.)

thanks kattumaram I took the shifter off to put the atf oil in dint see anything . ill cheak the slip yoke never even thought of that ! thanks
