hey do 5 speed trans burn fluid ? I was two liters shy when I cheaked the fluid today. I have never heard of a 5 speed burring fluid . its not leaking any where on the trans :help:

:blink:....gotta be going out somewhere, unless the tranny is running hotter than a two-dollar machine gun and frying the lube. (not very likely).

I guess you've checked the slip yoke tailshaft seal and flywheel housing for signs of leakage. Take a look at the frame and body for signs of oil aft of the tranny. (Sometimes some leakage can occur at the shifter interface and the slipstream blows the oil aft.);)

thanks kattumaram I took the shifter off to put the atf oil in dint see anything . ill cheak the slip yoke never even thought of that ! thanks
