'97 stalled out and will not start
I started my truck yesterday morning, my oil pressure gage showed zero pressure. My oil was a little low, so I put 2 quarts in. That didn't change the gauge so I went to a mechanic shop just to a a few questions. He said if you don't hear any unfamiliar loud noises it may just be a faulty singnal to the gauge. I then drove about 2 hours round trip with no problems and no unfamiliar noises and the gauge eventually went back to a normal pressure.
I then started my truck this morning same thing happened with the gauge recording no pressure. I was thinking maybe the cold weather had something to with the gauge not recording the correct pressure. Well about 20 minutes later I stalled out and my truck wouldn't start. Anybody have any ideas? Am I screwed? Thanks in advance.
