97 manual conversion
So, I bought a 1997 ford f150 single cab, short bed for $500. The truck was a project and was in the middle of a manual conversion when I bought it. I got the transmission and t-case in but it doesn't crank unless I jump the ignition relay thingy under the hood, annoying. Is there a wire or two I can cross on the harness to maybe get the key to actually do something? Im 18 and haven't had much experience converting shiz niz.
Another weird thing to note (unrelated to the tranny) the windows and headlights just make a clicking noise anytime I try to use them.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say it's a neutral safety. It should get relocated to the clutch neutral safety switch.
EDIT: The neutral safety switch is part of the PRNDL switch on the automatic trans. You can also possibly put a jumper in there. But it should ultimately be wired into the correct switch setup for a manual.
