97 f150 lariat4.6l 4x4 going into 4 wheel drive on it's own.what would cause this,it
97 f150 lariat 4x4 4.6;going down the road at low speed I hear a slight grinding noise,pull over flip switch to 4HI then 4L and back to 2HI the noise goes away.This is happening more frequent.It shows a code of transmission range sensor,but this sensor I believe is for the shifting of the trans.could you please help.
