Hey I have a 97 f150 5.4L pretty sure my cat is clogged, wondering if that is making the engine sputter? It doesn't sputter all the time but usually at an idle, putting it in nuetral and reving usually stops it. Also can I just cut the cat out without any problems?

 

yes it can...cutting out the cat is against Federal law..if you care ! and if you have a State inspection they may frown on it being gone also.
