Default 97 auto fogs

Has anyone connected there fogs to come on with there auto headlights? I've already made a thread before but came up with nothing but the 99-03 stuff. The switches are different in the back. If anyone has any pictures of how they jumped it either using a jumper wire on the back of the headlight switch or on the relay or whatever. Any info would be great.

I looked at both of these and there more focused on the fog light power in general and not the dogs coming on with the autos

Well i just was screwing around with it. I found the auto power wire. It's the two white with black stripe wires that run into one leg on the little gray connector. So I hooked to that. Then the middle big connector is the one that controls the headlights and fogs. I did some readings and noticed the yellow wire on the big black connector has 12v with the heads on then 0v when you flip the fogs on. So I jumped this wire to that from the autos and all It did was burn out a fuse and then the fogs would not work at all. I'm really confused as to why the voltage dropped there when I turned the fogs on. No other connection took on voltage when I put the fogs on which doesn't make sense to me

So why can't you modify it like it the first post I linked to. Take the switch apart, grind down the stop that keeps you from pulling the switch out (just like in the later models)?
Not sure if needed but they then jumped the white/black stripe wire coming out of the small gray plug and the brown wire from the larger gray plug).
Heck, see if just jumping those wires works.

I figured it out. You have to jump the yellow and black wire on the back of the big black plug which is the middle plug of the three. The wires are right next to each other.
The reason I didn't grind down the switch is because I wanted to do other options before grinding up a switch lol. But it's all good I got it figured out
