97 4x4 issue

97 4x4 issue

I have a 97 4.6 manual Trans with manual shift on the floor 4x4. I don't like the whole vacuum locking front end can I replace it with manual locking hubs.

No. You can buy a posi lock cable to lock/unlock the front diff or replace with a Expedition A4WD front differential.

Thanks for the info. I did some research posi lok part # 750. $159.00.
