Default 9.75 diff rebuild help.

Hello all, I am a new member and need some advice. I have searched the forum and the Internet and just haven't found a solid answer. I have a 2002 F150 super crew 4x4 5.4l, 4R70W and 245/75R16 Wrangler Duratrac tires. I started the process of repairing a leaking left rear axle seal. Well long story short it's a full rebuild due to water contamination and worn bearings. Also the pinion is welded to the front bearing so it's a 99% chance it will end up destroyed when I do get it out. That being said here are my questions.

The truck is a bit of a dog and since a new R&P is inevitable I could re-gear. However I'm still torn between 4.10 /4.11 vs 4.56. Its a daily driver in winter, light offloading and occasional towing, I use it like a truck. I have plans for a small lift and 33's when it's time for new rubber but current tires are fairly new so I am worried that 4.56 will be too much with my current tires. Note. I like power and speed but not at the detriment of drivability.

Second issue, brand. The best price I have found is at Rockauto. They have Dana ring and pinions and master kits with Timken bearings. Is there really a big difference between $175 Dana R&P versus a $350 Yukon R&P?

Last problem. I need a pinion depth setup tool that works on the 9.75 rear and I can't seem to find one. I would prefer a setup tool like the T&D Machine with dial indicator that actually mounts in the carrier bearing saddles but I can't find anything other than the Proform universal tool at Summit Racing.

Sorry for the book but any advice / guidance anyone might have would be greatly appreciated. I should say that this work isn't beyond my ability I just want the right tools for the job.
