Hey all,

I'm sure it's here somewhere, but am l correct that 98 stock rims won't fit 01 because the stud diameter increased from 12 to 14? I'm selling my stocks and it has been asked of me.

All the factory wheels will swap for the GEN 10's. The early ones fit close on the 2000 up, but they bolt on fine. My 98's are both running 2002 FX4 wheels without a problem. My old wheels went on a 2001. Using the later wheels with the 12mm studs, I just center them with acorn nuts then put on the oem nuts, and then remove the acorns and use the originals. Works fine with no vibration that way.

I had this issue. Put 98 Exoeditiin mags.w.12mm lug holes on myn01 150 w 14s. I looked and looked until I found a.step-drill that had few steos but the cirrect suze. Tbis is cuz the mags are thick. You have to go thru halfway and flip the mag. Worked great! 14/25.4 hives you a decilmal fraction of an inch. That x 16 or 32 gives a inch- fraction. BUT you need to shoot for 15 cuz a 1mm clearance is used by spec. Go semi-light on pressure when drilling. The step drill will debur for you BUT will start opening up to the next size... NOT desireable. Keep that drill straight and do not rush, even when you get the hang of it. On steel, new story. You lose the pressed bevel. Maybe a poor idea. W mags, the hubcap may lock to the nut, and a dif nut may not accomodate the cap. It's a truck, not a dress shirt.
