So i have a 5.4 with no mufflers and 2 pipes coming straight out the back but my friend made me consider changing it to 2 5" tips coming out at a angle under the bumper. Which would look best you think and would there be a sound difference?

don't think you can get 5" decent length tips out the corners. My 4" 18" long tips barely fit at an angle with the spare tire, if you remove that and run pip through there it will probably work tho. 5" put the back would work fine for sure, but why that big?

 

thats just how big my friend said but i thought it was a little too big too i was thinking maybe 4"?

 

honestly i think anything over 3 would be overkill

 

I've got 5" tips coming out at angles on mine and it looks really good. Made the sound a littler better too. Should fit fine, no problems. The spare tire does sit in the way but someone with a tube bender shouldn't have a problem if they know what they're doing

 

they make 5 x 12. they will look good. anything under 4's is from the 1980's hey its 2010 go big or go home. they are selling 8" tips here in alabama
