I personally do that all myself since Im a bit too proud to put my truck in a shop.

But that does seem high to me. Then again I was raised in a mexican ghetto neighborhood where everyone does the job for a couple of bucks.

Have you tried calling around to various shops?

Pride..one of the 7 deadly sins....and no ghetto's around me....I thought changing the plugs on these trucks was a nightmare..Not sure it's worth my time or aggravation

I got a $400.00 quote for the same thing on my Crown Vic at the dealership so I did it myself. 300.00 sounds right but it is of course way too high but they all get together on price. I would NEVER trust anyone else to replace the plugs in my truck because if some idiot cross threads or overtightens the plugs in that aluminum head, it is plug blowout city so I change them myself. Problem is if a yahoo strips the plug threads it won't blow out until enough time has gone by for them to say " we didn't do it". I would pay the extra money and take it to a good Ford dealership that repairs a lot of trucks. Over the life of the plugs the extra $100.00 is nothing and could save you real problems down the road. Seriously, call the Ford dealership and get a price.

64 dollars for plugs,30 dollars for oil and filter, and 10 dollar fuel filter. $104 to do it yourself or 300 for some one else to
