Make sure you love the truck bc you will never get that money back if you sell it

I think it would be cheaper to sell your truck and buy one with the 5.4 then do a SAS

Maybe add a disclaimer greenie *** to all who read; he doesn't want to sell his truck, he wants info on a swap. His thread is not about selling or opinions to sell he just wants help on learning what he needs for a swap. Answer his questions or politely leave***

It takes alot. wiring harness's, repinning connector, Engine, trans, pcm, manual tcase, custom driveshafts, and a lot of fab work.

Right that swap is definitely ridicules,- once you figure what you need to do to make it happen. Two totally different Ford platforms Essex vs Modular.

Better off brooming the truck w/4.2L for one with a V8. Even if you end up with one with a 4six, you can bump it up to 5four easily and much cheaper.

That's some info on the motor swap anyway.

Actually, I don't know anyone who finished a swap like that successfully. However, I do know that some have attempted it...never finishing or just quit posting.
