Carcrazygts2, not sure if easy is the correct word of choice. I was wrestling metal all day haha. I did manage to get both midpipes removed. It absolutely sucked. Also got the drivers side manifold removed, had 4 broken studs

Got all of them out except for one, which wont come out using vice grips. Not sure what im going to do on that one. I had a bad exhaust leak on this side with all the broken studs, you can tell if you look closely at the heads.

I had to cut my midpipe off. Thing was a pita. The spacers/bushings on the flanges are hardened steel or iron cuz it ate up all my sawzall blades and angle grinder cutters. Finally just pulled out the torch and let it drop.

If you don't have a welder soak that stud with some pb blaster about every 30 min the use a grinder to make a flap spot on the stud so the vice grips will catch better.

Ive only got one stud stuck in my navi heads. Without access to a welder that might be how I get it out.

I had 5 break off total on the passenger side (this is without PB). 2 were broke off inside the head, one was about 3/8" back in the head. Had it out in about 10 min with a welder. So I highly suggest soaking them 3-4 times over a two hour period.

I soaked the drivers side with PB the night before, and never broke a stud on that side. So the stuff def helped.

I had to remove the ABS module on the drivers side to get those out.

Man, you guys are a life saver haha. How tough was that to remove? I'm brake retarded, only know how to put on go fast parts haha. I assume you had to rid the system of brake fluid and re-bleed afterwards? It looks like i may have to do the same to reach one stud on the drivers side.

Maybe i can figure out a better angle of attack with a u-joint and some funky extensions too.

I didn't have to mess with the abs, but I don't remember how I did it either. Sorry, no help haha
