With that kind of miles I would think twice about it for sure. I ran a 4# lower but my motor only had 70k and my second only had 30K. Boosting a heavy 4x4 takes learn how to drive the truck in a completely new way. No WOT from rolls, no OD to 2nd kickdowns, etc.
Who's tuning it?
Who's tuning it?
While were on the tuning subject. Will I need to buy a chip or tuner? Or do they just flash over the stock ECU?
I'm just wondering if i need any additional equipment for tuning.

Some guys at finish line automotive and performance here in Arvada / denver CO. They have done some tuning on another members truck with a 4.2l v6 with good results. They have done some l-swaps onto other vehicles too.

Alright, I was under the impression that they can use their handheld tuner to flash and do everything and i just drive off with a re-flashed ECU.
But it sounds like i buy a tuner and they use my tuner to dyno tune? I'm new to the whole tuning deal. So realistically i should expect to buy a tuning device and dyno time?

4x4dave whats your plans after getting blower on truck? you going to trailer the truck to dyno? The truck wont run until the tune is loaded. I did the swap on my 01 Screw 4x4. I was running 12psi and it was fun to drive. If you have any ?'s let me know

Agreed. I'll just have to cough up the cash for the tune and the tuner!
