Default 4x4 vacuum issue

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 that isn’t getting vacuum to the 4x4 actuator. It has vacuum at the solenoids up on the firewall but when I checked it at the actuator I’m only getting vacuum to the 2wd hose. I traced the lines as best as I could and couldn’t find any damage from what I can see. But I did find the black hose in the pictures isn’t connected to anything. Any idea where it should go? If it’s not the hose pictured, any ideas on what to do next to get vacuum to the actuator?

Just in case, that black vacuum hose in the picture goes down with the orange and blue line to that connection in the 2nd picture. Doesn’t go all the way to the actuator.

Blue and pink are the actuator lines. I guess some set-ups have a tan line involved. I haven't seen one yet. There's no orange anywhere, I can tell you that. But yea, Blue and Pink for in and out of 4wd, all the way down to the actuator. Check them well, they like to dry up become brittle and shatter like glass. Usually up top though around the battery box.

Appreciate Jbrew, the more I checked the vacuum I noticed the vacuum was much weaker on the engagement solenoid, replaced it and works perfect now.
