4x4 Issue 99 F-150
Ive got a 99 F-150 5.4L with the manual transfer case with 183 thousand miles.
When i first got it, i could never get it into 4L it would just grind. But recently i put the truck into neutral and it actually went into 4L i was so ****ing happy that 4L actually exists. and i drove a couple feet and wanted to put it back into 2H. So i put the truck back into neutral and tried to enter the gate, but it grinded and my speedo mph's went up and then stalled. Finally i got the truck back into 2H by doing it with the vehicle off.
What could the issue be? high mileage?
