Default 4WD Vacuum Lines

98 F150 4.6L 5Sd

Can anyone tell me where the Vac Lines run on my truck that assist in engaging the 4WD?

My 4WD is not engaging and my Hanes Manual doesn't show it

I have the indicator lights just not engaging

Thanks

The vacuum lines go behind the battery to the solenoid for the front axle. You can trace the lines down from there. Most likely the actuator on the front differential is corroded and needs to be worked back and forth or replaced. Light on the dash is telling you the tcase is in 4x4.

Check to make sure your solenoids are working properly.

Is there a DIY somewhere on how to clean out the actuator fork?
