Default 4r70w shift kit

I have a 2003 ford f150 5.4 4r70w and I was wondering what is the best shift kit for our 4r70ws. I know transgo are bad, but haven't heard much of any good. Thanks

Who says transgo are bad?

Are you putting it in or is a shop?

How many miles on your trans? Rebuilt or stock?

Jmod?

Are you just looking for firmer shifts? A tuner will do that by boosting the line pressure.

Is your engine stock?

From every thread I've read transgos are bad, I will be installing, and it's stock, fluid changed every 10k since roughly 150,k it's sitting at 186k now

Blower **** valve body and a stand alone is the best option. No need to change oil but ever 60-75k??

Thankyou ibd, and the only reason for changing every 10k was to get all the old fluid out. It was just the pan drop getting 5 quarts at a time, I didn't want to risk flushing it at 150k and it start slipping

Changed filters yet? Vb and a Baumans controller lets u control everything with firm shift
