So I was told by my tranny shop that the transmission in my truck is a 4r100, which is the same transmission that is in the F350. Is there any truth to this. Oh btw I have the 5.4 in a 99 extended cab lariat if that matters.

 

its the same as in the 250 normally. Yes! it is true but it is built fdifferently then the diesel version. The diesel has a few more hop ups and such to handle the increased torque nad power. With a few modifications it can be the smae though.
