i have 97 4x4 and i put keys and 2 inches blocks in tha rear and my front axle boots broke but my 4 wheel drive works fine but i was goin thru a big ditch tryin to articulate (not sure if thats spelled right) but i had to put it in 4 wheel drive and i pulled out and the front end started poppin , i thought i broke an axle but i didnt ...think tha bearings or tha joints r messed up any ideas on wat it might be .......thanks

Sounds like the CV axle joints. Does the boots have any tears or is the grease gone?

yea the boots a ripped any idea wer to buy new axles

Try giving these people a call http://www.floridapowertrain.com They do all kinds of driveline parts. I use them for my stuff. They also balance drive shafts ya'll.
