4 wheel drive

I have a 2002 ford f150 and my 4WD high works but my 4WD low does not. Does anyone have an idea why this is?

This might be s dumb question but do you stop and put it in neutral then switch to 4 low? If not then that's your issue..

yes i but it in neutral and then turn the switch

You will not be able to use low with out going into drive first.
