I was just looking and our stock rear axles are about 80" that's a pretty hefty difference. You are doing glass fenders correct?

Yeah fiberglass is a must lol. I'm actually starting to wonder about the width of the kit. The raptor axle is 76.5" wide from what I've read and the regular is right at 70.5". This is just what I've read on other sites. Kinda makes the 91" total width seem kinda excessive. Maybe not. I'll call and ask on Monday. I just REALLY don't want to run spacers.

The swap doesn't have to happen right away I just wanted to go up to 4.56's from 4.10's. I didn't want to have to pay to have the 8.8 swapped then have to pay to have the 9.75 fitted with 4.56..but idk. I might put 35's on at the same time that I swap the axle and do 4.88's or even 5.13's. If I put 4.56's in with the stock tire size it'll put the ratio right about the same as my mustang with 4.10's on stock tires.

So quick update. Progress on the motor has been slow. Since I only want to deal with this once, I'm looking harder into the ideal machine shop to have machine and assemble my short block. I'm thinking about sending it to mmr in California while at the same time trying to find an excuse to go spend a while out there so I don't have to deal with shipping costs..anyways, while that all happens and while I'm saving for the rest of the build, I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2004 Mach 1. I've always wanted one and I found one for sale locally. The white mustang I have is on its way out (learned the hard way not to buy something modded off craigslist lol). It's a one owner with a good carfax and its in amazing condition. It's basically stock with the exception of wheels/tires, the rear windshield louvers (which I hate on these cars) and a simple bolt on exhaust system. It's got 107k on the clock but it was obviously well taken care of. Pics attached it's a little dusty but nothing a good wash and detail won't take care of

There's an azure blue one for sale locally here for 9 grand but it's got 148k miles on it and I'm not sure I want to spend 9k on a car with more miles than the car I have now..even though the car I have now was obviously abused and it's just now starting to show the tell-tale signs of it.

Well guys, the Mach fell through so for my birthday I bit the bullet and bought me a nice new reliable ride. A very clean low mileage 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited. Gotta say I love it. But now since I have a set monthly payment plan set up and shouldn't have to worry about repairs or any unexpected expenses (as long as I can keep from spending money on mods) I can now FINALLY proceed to get this darned engine build under way. The mustang will be sold Monday..hopefully. This will add a decent amount to be spent on the engine.

Now how would y'all recommend I get this block sent to California for a reasonable price? Not only do I need to get it machined and prepped to be assembled into a short block, I need to get it out of the garage until we are done recovering from our wood floor install.

Oh and I guess I should post a pic or two. Goodbye fast crowd killer, hello slow import lol.
