There are many of us (as it appears you've already found) that have had rotten luck using any plug that was not a Motorcraft.

Since your plug replacement, have you scanned it for codes again?

today I replaced the plugs with motocraft and it seems to be doing a lot better, codes went away but I do have a spark plug that is rounded so after replacing that one I should be all set fingers crossed

installed motocraft plugs today and found out after looking more carefully I have a rounded spark plug, driving it with the 7 replaced it did ALOT better than before but can still feel the misfire. Hopefully after replacing the rounded plug I should hopefully be all set fingers crossed

Rounded plug or crap in the hole keeping you from engaging the hex? I had to make a "cutter' by slotting the end of a piece of 3/4 inch copper pipe to break the crud on the rear driver side plug.

I plan on using a turbo socket to grip it, a family friend has some badass tools that I plan on heading over and using to tackle this

That's a hole filled with debris. It needs to be cleaned out to allow a socket to engage the hex..

I remember someone posting pictures of that homemade "cutter". Maybe that was you? It looked like it worked really well.

The problem with pulling that plug out with some awesome socket is that all that crap is going to fall into the motor. That plug bore must be completely cleaned of debris before putting a socket on the plug to avoid damaging your motor.
Having compressed air on hand is useful, even necessary, when replacing plugs on any modular engine, especially a dirty old truck motor.

This is a pic I found doing a search. This one is made of conduit. Can't seem to find the copper one that I've seen pics of. Basically these teeth loosen up the "crud" so you can blow it out or vacuum it out.
