Default 4.6 swapped with a Harley Davidson 5.4?

Would everything convert easily or would I need to get some new mounts?

Mounts no problem but you will need to play with the electronics, not sure about transmission.

There's quite a few differences. But it's still very doable

Make sure you have the correct torque converter. Don't use yours. It won't last.

I still beg to differ on that. It's just like putting a high stall converter in.

The HD has a 4R100 transmission, right? The 4R75W would work with the boosted engine, but the 4R100 would be a better choice.
The motor itself will bolt in, the 4.6 and 5.4 use the same mounts, and is basically the same block. That is the easy part, the electronics, fuel, cooling, and transmission stuff is the hard part.

Actually the 4.6 and 5.4 share a different engine mount

Yeah iirc it's the drivers side mount that's different. But it's really not a bad swap as long as you have ALL the parts and do it all at once. Mines finally done besides topping off all the fluids and double checking bolts and nuts
