4.6 engine swap in a 01'
Looking for someone who knows the answer for sure.
A friend bought his kid a 01' F150 with a blown 4.6 for really good price. It's almost mint aside from the blown engine. His mechanice he brough it to informed him that an 01' is an odd year, in that only a 4.6 from another 01 will fit. Any other year is a bust.
I've not worked on an 01' and am clueless but did let my buddy know I'd post something and see if I can get him an answer. Really appreciate any help on this question.
