4.56?
Anyone with a 4.6 and a 4r70w run 4.56s? My 4x4 needs a little more help with the 33" tires expecially when i hook the boat up. Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks

I have 4.56's and 35's. I like them but I'm going to 4.88 mostly for towing and camping. Daily driving won't be affected that much.
4.56's and 33's should be fine and it's the smallest I'd go even with 33's. I'd probably even consider still going to 4.88 if I were you just in case you ever go up to 35's. I think the difference is only around 200rpm at 65 but it's just on the performance side with 35's.
Don't fear the gear. Your transmission will thank you.

I got mine done at a local 4x4 shop called rock tech off road, I think it was right around 1100 out the door iirc for the rear with axle shaft replacements. They used Yukons and they have treated me very well, no whines or chunks after 3 years with them.
