97 F150 3RD door won't open tried to pull the interior pieces out to see if i could get to the inside of the door with no luck. Can i get to the latch if i pull the interior out. Anybody else had this problem.

 

It looks like every one has had this trouble. It seems to be the cheep plastic pull wire connectors are just crap after 5-10 years. Mine have failed, thankful the door is in the closed position. I still have to figure out how to get to the upper latch to get the door open to work on it.
