Think its possible to throw a 351 windsor in a 2002 xlt? Is there enough room?

Mmmm maybe.. You might have to get rid of some stuff. Or relocate it somewhere else. And I'm not sure if the 351 will work with the transmission you have. You might have to change that out too.

The wiring and mounts are different, you would have to have some fabrication skills.

Yeah. Your wiring would be a nightmare. Especially since youd have a hard time finding an obd-2 351w. And if you have to change the tranny. More electronics. Lots of stuff will be different. Motor mounts will be different. And i dont even think it will fit with the stock hood.

the fab isnt too big a deal i actually work in a fab shop. My buddy has the complete assembly, 1995 351 engine, wiring harness and computer i have a manual tranny so would i still need to change it out? I was more worried about clearance issues with the power booster, cross members, the front axle and stuff like that.

I have seen it done in a 1999 F150 scab. You will need to build a custom oil pan for the engine to sit low enough to clear the hood.
