Default 3.5" lift spindle with 2" blocks 2002 4.6L V8 2WD

I have a couple questions regarding the install of 3.5 inch spindles and 2 inch rear blocks on my 2002 4.6L V8 2WD supercrew. This is the spindle kit i purchased: https://wheelsnparts.com/3-5-front-l...97-03-2wd.html

Questions:
1. I've read a couple of places that people have to grind the lower control arm, will I have to do this?
2. I'm currently running P255/70R16 tires with stock wheels. I plan to lift it and use these tires until summer when I can get bigger tires. Will these tires do okay with this lift? and what's the best tire size for this size lift when I do get new tires? 33s?
3. Is there anything else I need to consider when installing these spindles and blocks? ie should the stock shocks and controls arms do okay assuming they're still in good condition?
