Default 2wd lift problems?

Hi, I have a f150 that I already added a spindle lift. I want to go higher and was wondering if a 2" coil spacer on top of the spindle lift will create any problems? I want to get 35's soon. How else can I go higher? Thanks

Buy a real 7.5" lift or do a body lift.

The problem starts with trying to lift a 2wd truck. That's like putting running shoes on a 3 legged turtle

Never heard that analogy before.. But yeah I'd have to agree. My truck is 2wd and I'm planning on leveling it soon just because I hate the rake. But going that high is asking to be made fun of. Plus you have all the added stress on your suspension parts for a truck that won't perform much different than stock off road and worse on road.

If you add the 2" spacers you will get a considerably rougher ride. I would say consider a body lift or 7.5" fabtech.

Why? I see the point in lifting it. I have a 2wd. With a 3" spindle. Do I want to go any higher? No. But I did it for looks. And I am more able to go off road. I have gone pleases where my buddies with "4wd" (open diffs) can't go. Also spindle lift doesn't put stress on components. It was a no brainer for me to do spindle for my truck. I also see 4wd not even going a little off road.

More pointless than a dull pencil. I love watching 2wd try to wheel with the 4x4's, all 20 feet. They give it hell though I'll give em that. I guess it's all personal preference. I use my 4x4 often so for me it's a no brainier I'm not into throwing money at something useless.

there you go. how many lifts, 2wd or 4, are actually "used"? far from all.

you ask me any true lift or for that matter 4x4 is pointless on a truck. they're for hauling stuff not hardcore offroading. that's why they have boxes. get a jeep or ATV.

someone asks for help, a few responses trying to help worm in and next thing the thread becomes an opinion war and the OP gets a load of insults instead of help. that happens way too much on this forum.

Where I hunt a lift and 4x4 is 100% absolutely necessary. I don't do hard core off roading and I don't beat my truck up but without a lift to get my bumpers through creeks i would be screwed, and without 4x4 I would be screwed. beefy tires and a level is all a 2wd needs. Nothing wrong with beefing it up. But 7.5" lift and 37s to go with it on a 2wd? Lol.... Down here we use trucks for what they're built for.
