Default 2003 F150 electrical issues

Guys,

My neighbor is a General Contractor that has a 2003 F150 XL that's got 300,000 miles on it. It's beat to hell but he's asked me to help him with an electrical issue he's having and figured I'd network here first. I've rewired classics from scratch but modern vehicles kinda a bit more complicated reading schematics.

The question I have is, he's got several accessories that work, and then don't work. His blinkers will blink 2x and then not blink at all. His radio works, then not at all. His dash gauges are lit, then they're dead.

So my first assumption is corrosion on an internal fuse panel possibly. I just figured I'd throw it out here to see where I should start looking if there's an interior fuse panel that might have been subjected to rain water due to a bad seal.

Any ideas on replacement harnesses with panels would also be helpful.

I'd suggest checking the GEM. It's mounted right on top of the fuse box, and definitely have had issues in the past. The bottom corner of the windshields would develop leaks , and drip right on the GEM.

With as many electronic issues he's having... that would be my first bet.

I did some forum searches based on your suggestion.

Thanks for the input, that is probably the problem.
