Smile 2002 Suspension

Hey guys I'm a noob here this is my first post. I was looking to drop my truck just a bit nothing too low and I thought I had torsion bars but I thought wrong, basically I wanted to know if it was possible to put the suspension components from a lightning onto my truck. I have a standard cab flare side with the 6.5 foot bed. Would it be cheaper to get the lightning suspension or just get a lowering kit? If the lowering kit is cheaper then please leave some lowering kits that you have used personally. Thanks in advance!

9 times out of 10 aftermarket is going to be cheaper. You could pull the block out the back and drop it 2-2.5" for free. I know Belltech makes a pretty good kit but I wouldnt go 6" out back or you may be looking at notching the frame.

Kits

Going spindles rather than springs will also keep your factory ride characteristics.
