2002 Harley Davidson
Hello everyone. Haven't posted in this forum before so here goes. I am a Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan and my old neighbors asked me I I wanted to buy their 2002 Harley Davidson for $9,500 (97,000 miles). It is great conditon minus a small tear on the drivers side seat. Every where I have looked it appears to be a great deal. I currently have a 2007 STX with 80,000 miles and just wanted y'all's opinion on if I should try to sell the stx and jump on the Harley? The most work I do in the truck would be haul my track bikes to the track with my trailer and sure the Harley would be way easier than the 4.6. Thanks in advance.
If it's in good condition & unmolested that is a great deal. You wouldn't have any problems towing or hauling with it. The supercharged 5.4 has lots of power. There are some preventative maintenance measures that will need to be performed if not done already. Such as cleaning the intercooler, plugging the rear turkey pan vacuum port, getting an oil separator & other things. Honestly, you'll get more accurate and complete info over on www.lightningrodder.com. Hope this helps.
