I have a grinding noise coming from my transfer case area. The tow haul light is flashing and is hard to get going from a stop and is still very sketchy on shifting. My t-case does shift but does get hung between shifting the selector between high and low range. would this cause problems with my transmission as well? Any help would be great!!!

 

I just had to rebuild my tcase cost around 300$ I'd take the tcase down and get a better look at it

 

If your light is flashing on the shifter that means you have transmission codes. Take it to a transmission shop and get the codes read. I don't know about the transfer case, but you seem have transmission problems.

 

Thanks guys. Yeah going to take it somewhere I guess. Will repost if something is resolved with this issue.

 

Jcr Is right does sound more like a tranny problem start there
