Tried to slide my pedals towards me this morning after adjusting the seat. After moving about an inch they starting making this god-awful grinding noise and I stopped moving them. I tried to slide them foreword again and the accelerator stopped moving but the break continued. Now I can barely get them to move at all. The accelerator will kind of move but the brake is stuck all the way at the top. Anyone else had a similar issue? And how much will it cost to fix? Thanks.

 

more than likely the mechanism is shot and if i had to venture a guess also discontinued from ford
