Default 2002-2003 FX4 owners...

What is your fuel economy (average, how many miles on a tank, etc)... I know that there are a TON of F/E threads but I am looking for this specific truck. 2002-2003 FX4 preferrably supercrew but I guess that all iterations of it will be ok.

Also, let me know if you are stock or what you have done to it. Most importantly, what fuel grade you use.

I get somewhere between 13 and 14 mpg average which is about half highway and half city driving. 2003 SuperCrew Fx4 with a MAC intake, true dual straight pipe exhaust with an x-pipe, body lift, 315 Hankook MT's and an Edge programmer. I use the tow setting on the Edge and i use regular 87 octane gas.

I get about 16 mpg doing an average 65 and i think the most I've put on a tank is 350. In town its more like 10-12 mpg sometimes lower when i use my autostart and 4wd alot in the cold and snowy months.

2002 Supercrew 4x4 5.4L with Goodrich All Terrain T/A 285/70R17's. In the summer if I'm easy on it I might get 14 mpg with a mix of city and highway driving. In the winter it's more like ten.

Whew... ok so I just emptied my first tank since taking ownership and I got 291 miles before the "Low Fuel" light came on and I put 21 gallons in it.

BARF... 13.1mpg mixed highway/city. My 2005 5.4L 2wd averaged about 16.1-16.3mpg.
