I am sure that the topic has been covered on here before, considering I have heard of a lot of people having to replace them. However, can someone guide me on replacing the window regulator on the drivers side front door? I already used the search button and google, but could not find information on the 2001 f150s. Removing the door panel is probably just common sense just looking for plugs or clips etc.

I have just ran into this issue.....but on the back driver side door. I have researched high and low for parts and labor costs my quotes have ran been from 250 to 350...there is no recall..people would have to die from the problem before they would even consider that. In your situation...front driver side window motor and regulator you can get at auto part stores such as NAPA etc...prices about 65.00...In my situation...ford dealership was the only place i could find a back door window regulator/motor kit...158.00...they got the market cornered on that....check this for taking door panels off............http://www.jimmijammer.com/Ford%20F1...20tutorial.htm......
