2001 will not start

2001 will not start
2001 supercrew will not start.
the first few time the truck would not start after driving for a while. when it warms up it will not start. at first it would cool off and start after an hour or so. then after running for a while it would not start and took until the next morning to start. it started a few time and seem all was good. after not driving it just sitting in the garage it decided not to start. temp in garage is now over 100 deg. the vehilce does crank and sounds like it wants to start but wont. Im not sure the fuel pump is working. when I turn the key and before hitting start I here a sort of hum and then it stops. this is up front but low and near the engine.
