I have the digital odometer it constantly cuts off and on. It does keep accurate track of mileage. At night if i dim my dash lights I can see the mileage even if its not lit like it normally should be. Any recommendations would be appreciated

 

Well known problem.
There are some cold solder connections. You have to take it out, and reheat them with soldering iron. I think there is a sticky here on it.

Its pretty easy fix. Do a search, theres good pictorial. I left mine for years, finally did it and wished i had sooner.

However, if solder doesnt flow and just oxidizes, or you knock it away, adding more with flux is hard. The connections are small and easy to bridge something on the pc board. If you cant get it, an electronics repair shop would be able too. Possibly adding flux before heating might help.
