Default 2001 f150 light problem

so i bought a 2001 f150 xlt 4x4 last week and have been doing a few things to it to fix it up for winter. When i bought it, only half the dash lights worked. Now yesterday i noticed the other half went out on the way home from work (was a pain on the highway guessing my speed). Now i got home today and noticed my rear running lights + license plates lights dont work either. Earlier in the week i replaced both license plate bulbs so i know they work. Brake lights work turn signals work headlights work everything else works. Any ideas? Where to start?

Both. Probably best bet is in the cab. High power fuses go in the engine bay.

My 2001 F150 KR Supercrew has a headlight problem. Randomly the headlights turn on when the truck is shut off and parked. Most often during the night resulting in a low or completely discharged battery the next morning. This happens completely randomly. It may be two nights in a row or a month apart.
It even happened with the headlight switch being completely removed. I did change the photo cell but that made no difference.
Anyone else experience this issue?
