Cool Converter

The Converter is not a pump in any way shape or form.Torque Converter is exactly that or Multiplier. And though not often is the cause things can go wrong inside a converter from shudder slipping vibration power.Recently had a 99 F-150 had awful vibration at idle Fords TSB was to raise idle 37 rpm. That was to get out of a multimillion recall. The actual true fix was a new converter. They wont tell you that but thats how i fixed mine. Many kinds of vibrations can be canceled out with WHAT.

Just wanted to mention since you suspect a pressure problem and have had it pulled apart did you make sure to put back the oil passage plug and sleeve on the out put shaft where a governor would go?
Also I've seen some crappy videos around youtube showing some basic testing of the valve body solenoids and such that are helpful.

I have a 2000 f150 extended cab 175K and a 2001 Supercrew 125K. Both are original factory with no mods. Both have a shudder/vibration upon take off. Both are 100% at fault when pulling a trailer with any weight, and especially upon take off and making a slight turn onto another road, or taking off from a dead stop. I fear it is a transmission or torque converter. I've read many threads on this, most was around the 10-12 year newer models slated as the 157" wheel base models. I am not sure of the wheel base on the ones I have..
Has anyone been able to know what is at the bottom of the shudder/vibration with these trucks? I did have a 2005 Ford Expedition until last year and don't recall any issues like this with that vehicle.
Thanks

It almost sounds like L/S clutches, if your truck has L/S rear diffs. that is.
