2001 f150 5.4 XLT stutter when accelerating from stop.
I have a 2001 f150 5.4 230k ish miles. So far I have cleaned EGR valve and throttle body, replaced vacuum hoses going to EGR, fuel filter, and spark plugs. I had spark plugs and coils done at 160k miles so I just replaced plugs. Now it seems that I have a sputtering/shutter and hesitation when accelerating from a stop. I can't seem to figure out what it is. No CEL

Not a very good description. So does this happen before the truck moves or during acceleration ?
You also contradict yourself, you say had the plugs changed at 160,000 miles. You posted the truck has 230,000 miles. I wouldn't call the plugs being just done, they are over due.
Sounds like the plugs, - what plugs did you use?

I just ran into this, this weekend. Red sat all winter and fired up and ran great. I took him on a 25 run, and it started bucking like mad 15 miles into the run. Scanned it, no codes. Next morning it was fine again. The first plug I took out was white as hell, so it was definitely running lean. The engine has 540 miles since the plugs/coils were changed, so those were sort of ruled out from the start. It has new Motorcraft plugs/coils
I climbed under the truck and dropped the fuel filter. Damn thing weighed a ton. Sure as hell, it was clogged, causing a very constant lean misfire. New filter, now it's fine. We seem to forget about them at times, but they can cause a lot of head scratching with these modular motors. Luckily mine was a quick fix.

I noticed you pluralized the word hose here, as though you replaced more than one. Please explain. There is only one hose that goes to the EGR valve.
