2000 Turn signal problem
Hello Folks!
I have an 2000 F-150 4.6 V8 XLT that the turn signals have started acting crazy on. Sometimes they will blink a time or two and then they will stop. If I jack with the handle sometimes I will get them to blink but only a time or two. The emergency flashers work fine. Is the emergency flasher the same flasher as the turn signal flasher? If so then I assume that the flasher is fine. What should I check for next? Perhaps the actual turn signal switch?
Thanks!

Turn signal and hazard switch are all one unit. Considering wiggling the switch makes it work sometimes and the hazards work completely fine, leads me to believe the switch itself has just worn out... Just my 2 cents. New switches are 20 bucks on eBay and are probably even less at a pick n pull. It's worth a try for the price.

I'm still fairly new to these trucks and haven't been fortunate enough to replace my turn signal switch to tell you. Lol
Me personally, I'd give an aftermarket one a shot. These trucks are old enough to where an 80 dollar turn signal indicator just isn't worth it to me. Engine, drivetrain, safety and other electronic parts that control systems on the vehicles? OEM all the way. Other may tell you differently, but that's what I'd recommend.
If you want OEM, but for aftermarket price, go find one on craigslist from a parts truck or go to a junk yard.
