Default 2000 F150. Trying to program keyfob remote. Wont work. Help!

Hello. I have a 2000 F150 XLT. I purchased 2 remote keyfobs from Ebay (lock, unlock, panic button). I tried several times to do the 8 off/on cycles but wont go into Programming mode. I replaced the door lock actuators recently as neither door would lock/unlock via the buttons/door controls. Any ideas? Thank you in advanced!!!

are you 100% sure the truck came with remote keyless from the factory? Just because it has the power group doesn't mean it has keyless, which is what it sounds like

As asked above, are you sure the truck has keyless entry? If so, you will have an off-white plastic enclosure, approximately 4" x 6" x 1" under the dash behind and above the brake pedal. Then, are you sure you purchased the correct fobs?

Random module pic.

Update... after seeing your picture of the module, it wasn't there. I have ordered one to try and see if that will work. Thank you so much for your help!!!

I have inherited this truck from my late father so I do not know any history of it. I will check to see if it has the module you showed. Thank you so much for the picture. I might try to call ford dealership and see if they know based on the vin number. As of now, the truck appears to not go into "programming mode" so the remotes are a non factor as of now.

Thank you again for the info...and thank everyone else for the comments and suggestions.

just a guess, but check the remote batteries. Might be dead or missing.

It's not the fobs. You must have missed this part on your first read-through, too.
